Clarry Hill Pottery on Tender Rock Farm

Searching for land upon which we could creatively explore our potential, we came upon blueberry country in mid-coast Maine: 63 perfectly sweet acres of hills, meadows, streams, forests and rock walls.  The land inspires us to be adventurous, and reinforces our mission to create by giving us endless organic gifts.

We deeply cherish the natural resources that the farm offers.  We mow fields, pick berries, hike along deer trails, snow shoe, grow vegetables, collect apples and pears from heirloom trees, tap sugar maples for syrup, and gather rose hips.  Birds and butterflies, white-tailed deer with young fawns, turkeys and pheasants are ever present, and each visitor seasonally shares the bounty of our farm land.

In 2018 we decided to express our creativity and boldly renovated an old out-building on the farm into a pottery studio.  We love crafting in clay, the artistic development and experimentation with glazes, and of course the anticipation of our final products for our customers with each kiln opening.  In 2020 we are delighted to launch our on-line pottery site to showcase and share our handmade products with you.
