The Thumb Print Olive Oil Bottle is designed to be grasped confidently while cooking or dressing a salad.  The bottle is thrown on the wheel with white buff clay, and the potter's thumb is thoughtfully impressed into the sides while the clay is still pliable. 
 
Glazed in Clear Powder Blue and Bone, the glazes overlap to create a gracefully cascading pattern of grey.
